Music

Music has been a big part of my life since I was very small. Music gives me inspiration for many things in my life : the way I dress  , my lifestyle , my views , my thoughts ...

I owe my love of music to my mom. She introduced me to all my favorite artists ( The Monkees , The Beatles ...) and I've been to many festivals with her. The first festival I ever went to was Glastonbury in England , when I was 4 . I've been going nearly every year since then and my favorite experience ever was Coachella a couple of years ago. I went with Tabby and my other friend Sammy , it was the first festival I ever went to without my mom. I met loads of amazing people and saw so many new bands that I'd never even heard of! 

I guess I have music in my blood. My father was a rock star in the late 80s. Not a very famous one at that , but a musician all the same! I got a guitar for my 11th birthday and I taught myself to play. I play my guitar to relax and unwind. If I didn't have music , I don't know what I'd do!

The Wide World...

Over the years , I have traveled to many different countries and met so many different people.
I have friends in England , Australia , Turkey , Brazil and of course San Francisco. I feel very lucky that I've had the chance to do this and I am very thankful to my mom and the way she she brought me up with so much freedom and how she's always taught me to express myself.
Seeing all these exotic places makes me realize what a tiny spec I am in this big , beautiful world.
As I grow up , I plan to see as much of the world as I can to experience different cultures.
One thing I always do is bring back something from each country I visit. Whether it's a necklace from India , a shirt from England or a shell from Antigua , it always serves as a nice reminder of the places I have visited. My favorite place in the world ? San Francisco - where my heart is!

Welcome everyone to India's blog. I've never had a blog before so please bear with me while I get used to it!I'm not very experienced with computers either and I'm using my friend Tabby's computer and getting help from her!
Why did I decide to set up a blog ? ...ummm...I'm not really sure - it was Tabby's idea!!
She says I'm an interseting person and I should set up a blog to write down my thoughts and stuff! So far I'm just experimenting!

India

If you're wondering why I'm called India , I thought I might tell you since many people ask me.
India was (and still is) my mom's favorite country at the time that I was born. She took me there when I was 9 and I fell in love with it too. The colours are so beautiful and the food is amazing.
I'm planning to go back there with friends if I save up enough money!
